Mark Bogani – Member

Mark Bogani, founder of Intaglio Mint, embodies the entrepreneurial spirit. He has over 30 years of experience in the securities industry and 35 years of experience as a coin collector. Plus, he’s also founded four successful startups. His startups include Intaglio Mint, Colorado Coin, Precious Metal Refiners (PMR), and Transhare Corporation.

Mr. Bogani is also passionate about coin making and collecting. Besides being a long-time collector, Mr. Bogani has experience with both the wholesale coin business (eight years) and the retail coin business (six years).  He’s a member of the American Numismatic Association (life membership) and the American Numismatic Society, and the Industry Council for Tangible Assets.

Besides his numismatic pursuits, Mr. Bogani understands financial services from both the corporate and investment side. He has served as an officer and a board member of multiple companies, both private and public.  Mr. Bogani is also an active investor. He has participated in dozens of private placements, bridge loans, convertible debentures, and various other debt and equity investments with both public and private companies.

Four of the five companies Mr. Bogani founded combine his entrepreneurial savvy and numismatic knowledge. Intaglio Mint is a private mint that manufacturers coins, tokens and medallions to commemorate events, places and historic remembrances. Colorado Coin (which he sold in 2007) is a retail coin store. Precious Metal Refiners (PMR) is a metals refiner.

Mr. Bogani’s fifth startup, Transhare Corporation, is a full-service stock transfer agency and registrar specializing in publicly traded micro-cap, small-cap and mid-cap companies.  Mr. Bogani sold Transhare in July of 2017 to focus on his other businesses.
